‘Housefull’ Gets 2nd Highest Opening After ‘3
IDIOTS’ |

Eros International Media
Limited has announced the opening of Sajid
Nadiadwala’s HOUSEFULL which released across
theatres on 30th April and has grossed Rs. 64 crores
worldwide in its opening weekend. Among the first of
the summer releases post IPL, HOUSEFULL opened
across 2,000 plus screens worldwide and garnered a
collection of Rs. 48 gross in India and Rs. 16
crores overseas in its opening weekend. HOUSEFULL
directed by Sajid Khan has performed worthily across
all key centers and overseas. With its wide
distribution strategy, Eros hopes to reach out to a
record number of viewers worldwide.
Commenting on the opening, Nandu Ahuja, Sr. VP,
Distribution, Eros International Media Limited said,
"HOUSEFULL being the first major release post 45
days of cricket frenzy, we were confident that it
will open very well. With its excellent weekend
performance, the biggest of the year so far,
